Mentor Training: How to Create an Incentive Program for your Mentee (plus pizza dinner, RSVP appreciated)

Please join us to learn about this enhancement for solidly established mentoring relationships. Incentive programs can provide the motivation for students to cultivate healthy habits and behaviors. With your guidance and encouragement, your mentee can grow and mature in whatever unique area is appropriate to them, such as:
- Attendance
- Manners
- Gratitude
- Academics
- Follow-through
- Interpersonal skills
- Communication
We provide the manual, training, and incentives. You offer the opportunity for your mentee to earn things they really want and need – stuff like clothing, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, games, toys, gift cards to local businesses, and more. (Special thanks to Karen Schlom and the City of Moab for organizing and funding this program.)
You’ll walk away from the training with a manual in hand, having toured Grand Area Mentoring’s incentive store, and with knowledge about plans that have worked before.
