A New Logo and Look! Thanks to a grant from the Carl George Bjorkman Foundation, Grand Area Mentoring has completed a brand renewal.

Mentor Defined: a Quintessential Paraprofessional Studies suggested paraprofessionals are well equipped to contribute in many helping arenas. In the Chronicle of Evidence-Based Mentoring, Dr. Jean Rhodes summarized research that highlighted the effectiveness and affordability of youth mentoring models.

One Love is a nationwide nonprofit that teaches young people about healthy relationships and how to avoid abuse. Their goal is to prevent domestic abuse and sexual assault before it happens.

Meet Our Staff Megan McGee is the mentor coordinator. She schedules meetings, troubleshoots match challenges, and supports relationships. Megan has lots of direct contact with mentees, mentors, teachers, and families.
