Summertime Opportunities
Stay connected over the summer. Plan to meet, talk on the phone, Zoom, or send mail. School-based matches can rendezvous at HMK or at the Youth Garden Project during summer lunch (info below). Please complete a log after each meeting, available here: https://grandmentoring.org/mentor-log/
Community-Based Matches –
You can get together at approved locations throughout Moab! You might make your own plans or join any of the following with your mentee:
- Open Swim at the Aquatic Center
(Mentors and mentees get in free while together!)
3-6pm Fridays and Saturdays

An exciting Moab rodeo experience!

July 5 – Grand Co. Fair, at Spanish Trail Arena
- Moab Free Concert Series
Enjoy live music on the beautiful grass of Swanny Park. Bring a picnic!

- Youth Garden Project Weed n Feed
Chip in at the Youth Garden Project and enjoy a meal! May 29, June 12 & 26, August 7. Weeding starts at 6pm followed by free dinner!
- Moab Crystal Festival
10am-8pm, June 15th, 16th @ Spanish Trail Arena
- Moab Free Movie Summer Film Series
Watch movies under the stars! Bring blankets, chairs, and water. Movies screen at 8:30pm.
