Seekhaven will cover the nuances of violence or sexual trauma, possible impacts on children (either as a primary or secondary victims), and the best practices for first responders. Whether you work with mentees or more broadly with children in Moab, this training will prepare you to understand the problem more broadly and support young people who have faced these challenges. In a world where one in ten young people may be victims of sexual assault, we all need to be prepared to be first responders.
